The restaurant San Pedro Abanto is situated at a crossroads on the outskirts of Segovia. Until the 19th century it was a Mudejar church and the convent of San Juan de Requijada after which it was converted into a rest stop for farm workers.
We are not only famous for our Cochifrito (fried suckling pig). The menu includes traditional roast lamb and suckling pig, grilled meats and fresh fish of the finest quality. Our dessert menu is characterised by products of guaranteed origin which allow us to offer delicious, homemade, healthy desserts. As well as being able to enjoy the monuments of Segovia, only a few hundred metres away from San Pedro de Abanto is the Alameda del Parral park. This is a magnificent garden which runs alongside the banks of the river Clamores in which the white poplars, poplars and the impressive El Parral Monastery provide the visitor with one of the most relaxing and captivating moments of their trip.
Also one can visit the Fuencisla park and church, the San Marcos district and the ancient Vera Cruz church constructed by the Templars and the only of it´s kind with an octagonal ground plan.
